About the role

We're searching for a driven and seasoned Operations Director to lead the show in Italy and Romania. In this role, you will ensure the smooth running of our three factories and logistic networks while implementing strategies that optimize their financial profitability and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Roll out a comprehensive safety policy across all operations, ensuring the well-being of both staff and equipment.
  • Promote a High-quality culture and ensure finished products meet all customer and company specifications.
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 100 employees, fostering a culture of empowerment and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and supervise industrial operations, including maintenance, investment in new technologies, and implementation of Lean Management principles.
  • Lead the way in the company's circular economy efforts by promoting sustainable practices and complying with environmental regulations.
  • Develop and manage logistics strategies, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound operations to meet customer needs.
  • Partner up with internal and external stakeholders, including plant managers, regional peers, and central divisional experts.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • A master's degree (engineering, business school, etc.) and at least 10 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in an industrial environment.
  • Experience managing a country-size business unit, ideally in an international and matrix organization, is a strong plus.
  • Lean awareness and, ideally, certification is a strong plus.
  • Fluency in Romanian and Italian (native language preferred) and English (mandatory, with excellent written and oral communication skills).
